I am in my thirties. I spent the majority of those years in Henderson, NV which is just outside of Las Vegas. I grew up eating at buffets, visiting the strip, and baking in the summer. It is hot there. My family relocated in June 2010 to Virginia. My husband's job brought us to Staunton and we Love it.
My husband and I will celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary this August which is just plain crazy. We have an 11 year old son and a 13 year old daughter. We are in our second year of home-schooling, and, honestly, we love it most of the time. Once I have completed most of my daily mommy duties (including menu planning and meal prep because we adore food) I turn to my creative activities.
I always enjoy re-finishing furniture. Some pieces get re-done in my mind several times before I settle on the way it will be re-done physically. I am definitely a DIY gal. My mother is that way, my grandmother is that way (knocking out walls while grandpa was at work!) and my cousin is that way. It is even catching my little sister. I see stuff and think I can do that. And then I ponder how it was done, add it to my super long project list and some time I get to it. Well, I am trying to get through that list which keeps getting longer and I am sharing it with you all.
