Court house color palette

While visiting Richmond, we stepped into the courthouse. I had to snap a few photos because I Loved the colors used to enhance the detailed architecture!

This doorway is just the pass through from the lobby to the main hall. I am certain I have that shade of blue paint somewhere around my house.

The columns are surrounded with a raised lattice and ball detail in the blue and gold. There is a muted rust color used on the handrails and throughout the hall.

I have a china cabinet that will soon showcase some of the same colors used on this map. There is inspiration everywhere.
